Goldstein have also worked as writers for projects such as Horrible Bosses, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. So will they helm Spider-Man? This wouldn't be the first time Marvel has chosen two directors with comedy background for its movies.

Jared Hess for Spider-Man

Jared Hess struck it big with Napoleon Dynamite, following with failed projects such as Nacho Libre and Gentlemen Broncos. However, his other movies look pretty good, with Don Verdean already released and Masterminds set to be released this August.
