A setup for the first Batman film (with Ben Affleck)

The most recent news is that the actual Man of Steel sequel was put indefinitely on hold. However, we all know now that Ben Affleck will star and direct the next Batman solo film (presumably called The Batman).

This kind of post-credits scene could send fans into a frenzy – while the Batman film is still just a rumor at this moment, Batman v Superman won’t just bring the two most well-known superheroes on the big screens: it can also confirm that Ben Affleck will have his solo Batman film. And maybe, just maybe, this post-credits scene should be directed by him.

If you’ve watched any of his movies, you’d certainly know what the difference is between his style and Zack Snyder’s.

This scene can tease the appearance of a Batman villain (a villain too small for a Justice League film), or even a new Robin.
