Kevin Feige did say that the first Spider-Man flick will feature a new villain. But what if he meant that it will be new villains, instead of just one? If the rumors concerning the Sinister Six and the Spider-Man universe are true, then Scorpion needs to be present. And Logan Marshall-Green would make a great Mac Gargan.

And I choose this Scorpion because his relationship with Spider-Man seems the most complex one. Tasked with finding all about Parker’s relationship with Spider-Man, Gargan (a private investigator) fails to uncover the truth. And so he is willing to undergo an experiment that changes him entirely.

Furthermore, if Dark Reign is to happen after the Infinity War, Logan Marshall-Green would have the chance to basically play two villains. One of them would be Scorpion, the other a fake symbiote Spider-Man.

But, until then, who wouldn’t want to see Scorpion on the big screen? This is a character long overdue.
