Tinkerer
As everybody knows, Vulture will be the main antagonist of the movie. Thus, he will work for Oscorp, and will have developed his infamous suit, based on Stark technology. However, since he wasn’t able to replicate the arc technology, his suit is powered by the wearer’s life force.
So what if Logan Marshall-Green portrays the Tinkerer, another scientist hired by Oscorp? What if he is supposed to aid Toomes as the technology is perfected? And what if the Tinkerer has plans of his own?
Even if he doesn’t, he would still make for a great secondary villain. Given the super-intellect of these two foes, Spider-Man would have no other way than ask for Stark’s help. And since Robert Downey, Jr. will appear in Homecoming…
Yes, this would be another supporting role for Logan Marshall-Green. But who said it should be otherwise?
