The Tunnel of Love

This sounds interesting, right? Joker in the Tunnel of Love – what can go wrong? Well, everything!

In Batman: The Killing Joke, Joker wants to show the Dark Knight that one bad day can drive insane any person. So what does he do? He breaks into James Gordon’s house and shoots his daughter Barbara. Where’s the Tunnel of Love?

Coming right up! James Gordon himself is kidnapped and sent on to a ride in the tunnel of love. Strapped like a dog, he is forced throughout the ride to watch nude pictures of his daughter, all bloody after being shot. Creepy and twisted? Yes, of course. Then Batman comes to the rescue.

So how can it all go down in the dark DCEU? We believe it already did and we are expecting some sort of flashback. As Bruce Wayne said, how many good people are still alive? In the DCEU, James Gordon is already dead – and the rumors are that Jena Malone will portray Barbara Gordon as Oracle. So we do expect a flashback about this Tunnel of Love event, although one that doesn’t end so well for the good Commissioner.

Of course, don’t expect for anything too explicit or anything that could bring on an R-rating.
