X-Men: Last Stand (2006)

After a more than successful X2, the X-Men series changed directors, with Brett Ratner at the helm – of course it was disappointing. And not just because it butchered one of the best (if not the best) X-Men story lines, but also because it was lifeless.

Sure, the major theme of the Mutant Universe was present. However, it was suffocated by the explosions and mindless action, whose sole purpose was just to bring another heap of money.
