Captain America: Civil War – The Solo Fights

Captain America: Civil War

The teams are set for Captain America: Civil War and we might now from the start who will betray their leader. However, what is most interesting is that, besides one final fight between the full teams, we will get too see quite a few skirmishes during the movie. And what is most interesting about them is that the film will most likely present one on one fights between the heroes.

So which ones will be the most interesting and which ones will have the clearest winner? Moreover, which solo fights from Captain America: Civil War get us the most excited already?

Black Widow vs. Hawkeye

Black Widow vs. Hawkeye
Black Widow vs. Hawkeye

We've already seen this one, in the first Avengers movie, in which Black Widow fought a brainwashed Hawkeye. It was the latter's best scene in that movie, we can say, although it wasn't that exciting whatsoever.

But things will be changed for Captain America: Civil War, since both of the characters have been developed since their first appearances. And now we know that they are indeed very close friends - whereas in the first Avengers film we only presumed that, knowing that they have a history between them, now we know that Hawkeye can trust Black Widow with his biggest secrets.

So this will be a fight to see, indeed. In a way, this will mirror the Reed and Sue story from the Civil War comic book, in which the Marvel's first family was torn in two. And we'd like to see that emotion when they fight, we'd like to see their despair in Captain America: Civil War.

We won't see those emotions, though, as there will be one-liners. And we'd like for Hawkeye to win - but we don't see it, since Black Widow is much colder and has shown us time and time again that she can hold her own, no matter what the situation.

War Machine vs. Ant-Man

Now this can be the funny fight of Captain America: Civil War, just because it has Ant-Man in it. Sure enough, War Machine is a force to be reckoned with, having an awesome arsenal and being based on the same technology of Iron Man. But, common - he is still a second tier character in the MCU, whereas Ant-Man is much better.

As said, War Machine has all the chances to overpower Ant-Man during a solo fight in Captain America: Civil War. However, the latter possesses an awesome power, which was already displayed against another Avenger, Falcon. And while War Machine is built like a tank, Ant-Man is much more agile - so, shrinking and growing back up, he will be able to make a dent. Literally. This one goes to Ant-Man, although we're not sure how excited we are to see a rehash of the vs. Falcon fight.

Winter Soldier vs. Iron Man

Who should we root for in this awesome Captain America: Civil War fight? We have no idea - both of the characters are liked, but only one can succeed. And Tony Stark has all the aces. Sure enough, the Winter Soldier will put up a great fight - but that won't be enough against an enraged Iron Man.

Enraged? Well, Bucky did kill his parents, right? So this is definitely a fight to see, just because we'll have the worst coming out of Tony.

How will Captain America feel after having his friend beaten to a pulp? Well"¦ the Captain America vs. Iron Man fight will most likely be the last one of Captain America: Civil War. And for good reasons.

Scarlet Witch vs. Vision

Vision vs. Scarlet Witch
Vision vs. Scarlet Witch

At the moment, this pairing isn't so certain. But, since Vision can take on Steve's entire team (minus Wanda), we'll just assume that his solo fight will be against Scarlet Witch.

Both of these are the heavy hitters of Captain America: Civil War and we don't really know who will win. Scarlet Witch is still untrained, while Vision has no reasons of actually using all of his powers against her. But he does have the upper hand, since he is made from vibranium and powered by an Infinity Gem.

So this one must be the most exciting solo fight, if it will happen, from Captain America: Civil War. And will most likely end with Vision yet again carrying away a wounded Scarlet Witch - but, this time, by his own doing.

We cannot wait to see it!

Black Panther vs. Captain America

This one will most likely set the final fight between Captain America and Iron Man. And this one will be the best one from Captain America: Civil War. There will be no technology involved in here, just two humans at the peak of human condition, using only their skills in order to defeat one another.

Of course, Steve Rogers has the upper hand in this one, since he is not just a mere human, being empowered by the Super Soldier serum. But we do see Black Panther of the MCU holding his own and even having a shot at defeating Captain America. And that is because he is a natural born leader, who will most likely end up leading the Avengers himself.

But he has to lose in Captain America: Civil War, just because this isn't Black Panther: Civil War. And he will most likely lose because he gets distracted in some way - his prowess and fighter skills won't be undermined by this defeat and he will have the chance to prove himself once again.

The lost fight of Captain America: Civil War

Just Falcon
Just Falcon

The fight that doesn't really get us excited is the one between Falcon and Spider-Man. Sure enough, it is said that the web-crawler will have a cameo in Captain America: Civil War. But so did Falcon in Ant-Man.

So who will be the winner? Falcon, of course, even if he is the least important character out of these two. He just hast the experience.

And we can also expect for this solo fight to be a funny one, because Spider-Man.

The big fight of Captain America: Civil War

Captain America vs. Iron Man

Obviously, it is Captain America vs. Iron Man. And we don't see Captain America winning - but he will probably do so. Just because his name is in the title.

And, if you can believe this, it doesn't really excite us all that much.

But which one is the most interesting to you?
