Apocalypse! What does it mean? Damage Or some massive destruction. Yeah! But that's just what a normal man thinks. For people who love comics, the one thing that strikes their brain when hearing this word is the X-Men. The human-like organisms called mutants who have extraordinary powers to save this entire world from villains. Feeling blank? It is time to watch these movies. You are missing something fascinating in your life.

While the X-Men franchise is releasing their next movie this upcoming year, superhero fans are very much excited. They feel it is a must watch and it’s praises will be heard for a decade from now. The X-Men film series, which is, of course, a Marvel comic book live action movie series, has just released their first official trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse a few days back. The expectations for the movie is getting higher by each passing minute. Let's look at some of the main expectations on this movie.

10. The Wolverine Cameo

Wolverine is one of the most fan favorite superheroes from the X-MEN film series. So far, the character has appeared in all the X-Men movies. With fans wanting to see at least a small cameo of him in the upcoming movie, the first official trailer was a little bit of disappointment for them. Hugh Jackman, the actor who plays Wolverine in the X-Men film series has announced about his last movie for the franchise which is going to be Wolverine 3. According to what we know so far, we can be sure that we'll be seeing the old man Logan. This may be a good idea by the Fox because the characters termination from the script will definitely be hard for the fans as wells as the franchise.

We don't know whether Wolverine will be seen in this movie, but this mystery holds the key. A small appearance in the post-credits scene will make the fans feel better.

9. The Apocalypse

Apocalypse is one of the most important antagonists in the X-Men universe. He is said to be the first mutant being ever born and he's immortal. Doesn't that sound more interesting? Trust me! Comics are always interesting. In the last movie of the X-Men, we saw the Four Horsemen (personal guards of Apocalypse). That's the moment when the viewers came to know that the next movie from the franchise will show Apocalypse. Now, as we've seen our first look at Apocalypse from the trailer, the heat is only creeping into the blood of each fan. With his looks, his abilities, and most importantly the words we heard from him "I have been called many things over many lifetimes "” Ra, Krishna, Yahweh" has just got the fans have their hearts in their mouth. It's completely obvious that this movie has something in store for the fans. Fans definitely can’t wait to watch.

8. Professor X Going Bald

James McAvoy's new version of Professor X is one of the best moments from the trailer. This version of Professor X, where he's completely bald is an iconic version which is exactly how the Patrick Stewart's look was. It was the ending scene of the trailer where the McAvoy's bald Professor X will be sitting on his wheelchair. It was a goosebump moment for everyone who watched the trailer. It is clear now that we'll be seeing the transition of Professor X to the iconic bald one. The expectations are high on how the mutant with telepathic abilities is going to fight the greatest villain anyone has ever fought.

It is completely sure that there will be an interesting thing behind him going bald. Is Professor X's hair loss is due to the X gene which gives him super powers? There is only one way to find out. Let's wait for the movie.

7. The New Young Mutants

We already knew that we'll see the change of the mutants. The X-Men franchise released their first movie 15 years ago. The story has evolved greatly and the last movie from the franchise known as X-MEN: Days Of Future Past has created a new timeline which erased the continuity and has brought the newer versions of the superheroes we've seen so far.

The trailer shows some great looks for our new young mutants. The new Cyclops, new Storm, new Jean Grey and all other new interpretations. Will the youngsters be the driving force to help X-Men defeat Apocalypse? The chances are high. Mystique leading them with the rampage mode is proving that.

No one knows how young mutants will enter the plot. Director Bryan Singer has a lot to do to not let the expectations fall. Well, we know he won't.

6. Appearance of Quicksilver

Everybody loves a superhero with the ability to run faster than a speeding bullet. It's the Flash when it comes to DC and It's obviously Quicksilver when it comes to Marvel. So far, Quicksilver has appeared in only one X-Men movie. The presence on screen was very short. Nobody can forget the scene from the X-Men: Days Of Future Past, where we'll see a close-up shot of him. With a slow motion and a little smile at the corner of his face, he is surely impressive. It is now clear after seeing the trailer that we'll see Quicksilver running around in the movie.

The burning question is if he will have a lot of screen presence. The last time was very impressive and enjoyable. The movie will let us know what is in store!

5. The Devastating Vision

The most devastating vision which was shown in the trailer has brought more expectations about what the villain will do to the earth. The sight of Jean Grey screaming and her visions of how the world will become if Apocalypse is not stopped by the mutants has made all bite off their nails. The vision is terrifying and shows the capacity of the villain.

We also have to remember that Apocalypse is the most dangerous threat the X-Men have seen so far. There is no doubt that we'll be seeing the X-Men assemble to fight this evil villain.

The leather costume in the trailer has caused a stir. We can see them tensed and feeling the pressure. It is surely going to be a though job to knock them down!

4. The Four Horsemen

Who are the four mutants that Apocalypse chose to personally guard him and to destroy the humans?

As we got our look at the official trailer, we're now sure that the four Horsemen are the best pick of mutants. There was a very long list to choose, but director Bryan Singer has done what is best for the business. The Four Horsemen who will be fighting alongside Apocalypse are Magneto, Angel, Psylocke, and Storm. As Magneto is the only senior, he will definitely be the key character to help Apocalypse in achieving his goals. We saw our first look at Storm in the trailer, and even though Halle Berry is not going to return as Storm, this new version looks more powerful than the old one.

3. Charles Xavier's vision

What is Professor X seeing? Is he seeing the world being destroyed by new threats? Or is he looking at his new X-Men team in action? Why are his eyes turning black? There are a lot of questions we want to know after seeing the first trailer. In that trailer, there was a particular scene where Prof X's eyes turn black and he says he had a vision like never before.

Another scene in the trailer looks like it is the end of the human race. This visual was almost similar to how the city in the movie Transformer got destroyed. Will the mutants be able to knock off Apocalypse with the young team in hand? Apocalypse's major goal are to destroy the humans and to make the world worship him as God. There are some more days to wait until the movie releases. The second official trailer will be released soon. Let's find out what mysteries it can reveal.

2. Bryan Singer's Tearful Moments

The director of the X-Men movies, Bryan Singer has admitted that Michael Fassbender (Magneto) made him weep during the filming of the X-Men: Apocalypse movie. He has said that "Michael Fassbender did something so wonderful in this movie"¦ We're at the end of the scene, and he asked me not to call cut and when the scene was over, he continued and did something that made me cry in the tent; I've never done that before." So, What did Michael do that made the director cry?

Are we waiting to see Magneto sacrifice his own life to save this world? Maybe. Let us not forget that the powerful mutant with the power of magnetism finds hard to fail anyone. He is on the villain’s side in the movie. That makes apocalypse as one of the most dangerous villains of X-Men. Will he realize that he is doing something very bad?

1. What'll Be The Post-credits Scene Be About?

Screen Shot 2015-12-18 at 12

When it comes to a Marvel comic movie, You just can't go out of the theater as soon as the movie gets over. There is an important scene hidden behind the credits which no one would afford to miss. So what'll the post-credits scene be about in X-Men: Apocalypse? It will absolutely be an important scene which will hint you for the next movie. Will it be about the second installation of the Merc with a Mouth? Or about the Gambit movie? Maybe not. Gambit movie’s pre-production will only begin in Spring 2016. Now, there is one more option we left out.

Yes! Wolverine 3. We could get a look at the old man Logan which can be the best option for the post credits scene. Let wait until the movie hits the theaters. Let's wait till next year to see how the mutants will save the world from the most egregious villain they've ever met. X-Men: Apocalypse opens in theaters May 27, 2016.
