Yesterday we got to watch a new trailer from Suicide Squad with Viola Davis' Amanda Waller and Joel Kinnaman's Rick Flag in the spotlight. Today we've been offered another brand new trailer for the August 5 release that focuses on Will Smith's Deadshot.
Just like the last one, this one isn't something that we would normally call a full trailer. It's more of a teaser trailer, and it runs for just a minute. However, just like the last one, this new trailer features a decent amount of new footage from Suicide Squad.
The trailer starts with Deadshot doing a boxing workout inside his cell, while Ike Barinholtz's yet-to-be-specified character (rumor has it that the character is Captain Griggs from the Wonder Woman comics) calls him to the door to grab his meal, which consists of a not-so-appetizing loaf!
But Will Smith's character seems to be fuming, not only because of the quality of the food, but also because Ike's character addressed him as "Floyd", which is the name he goes by only among his friends!
The world's deadliest and most accurate marksman even threatens that he’ll "rain down" on him the day he gets out of his cell.
The scene is followed by another one in which Amanda Waller in a slightly nefarious way says, "Why don't we have some fun?" Then a fragment of Ballroom Blitz starts playing in the background and we see glimpses of various scenes featuring the Suicide Squad members.
At one point, we hear Deadshot saying, "I don’t know if they told you, but I’m a hitman. I don’t save people." The trailer also offers some info on the character, letting us know that he’s a "human arsenal", an "assassin for hire", and that he's "lethal from 4,000 meters"!

I could be wrong, but I feel that we are going to see more Suicide Squad trailers of similar length in the next few days, with each bringing one or two different characters from the movie into the limelight.
There's one more update on Suicide Squad that concerns the movie's UK fans. The British Board of Film Classification has given the David Ayer flick a 15 rating for "sustained threat" and "moderate violence".
Most superhero movies with a PG-13 rating in the United States receive a 12/12A equivalent rating in the United Kingdom. But, obviously, some PG-13 rated movies have been given 15 ratings, so Suicide Squad won't be the first.
