Star Wars: The Force Awakens is way bigger than anybody expected - of course everybody believed that it will manage to break the opening record of Jurassic World, but nobody even guessed by how much!
While the Disney officials are playing it safe, with predictions of about $205 million take-in for the first 3 days, things are looking much better. Thus, the movie already made a whopping $57 million in evening screenings and is on track of being the first flick to make $100 million in a single day, which puts it on track of winning about $250 – $275 million in US over the weekend.
But J. J. Abrams' flick isn't just a proper return to the franchise, which can wash away the memory of the prequels. It is also a film boasting with unexpected (and unobservable, for that matter) cameos.
Thus, the first actor to cameo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens is Simon Pegg (Star Trek and Mission Impossible, as well as The Cornetto Trilogy) and he was announced back during the Comic Con. He is Unkar Plutt, an alien running a trading post on Jakku and who wanted to buy BB-8 from Rey. You couldn't have told that it was him simply because of his make-up and costume.
The second (and even bigger) cameo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens is made by Daniel Craig (James Bond) - Simon Pegg did mention that the Skyfall star will make an appearance. You didn't notice him because he had a full Stormtrooper attire. When Rey is captured, she uses the Force in order to convince one of her captors to release her - the Stormtrooper responsible for that is portrayed by Daniel Craig.
Another big cameo in Star Wars: The Force Awakens is made by Warwick Davis, who played Wicket the Ewok in Return of the Jedi. He is credited as Wollivan and he is supposedly one of the aliens found in Maz Kanata's castle - spot him if you can!
There is also Bill Hader cameoing in Star Wars: The Force Awakens! His role was revealed just a day before the world-wide release and he provides his voice to everybody's new favorite droid, BB-8!
There are also two other cameos in the movie – Radiohead's producer Nigel Godrich is a Stormtrooper himself, though it is hard to say which one. His role was won after Edgar Wright returned a favor (and what a favor must have been!). Lastly, there is also Michael Giacchino (composer and collaborator of Abrams), who is the Stormtrooper who delivers Poe Dameron to Kylo Ren.
