Spider-Man: Homecoming Still Released Before Official Trailer

An official still from Spider-Man: Homecoming was released today, ahead of tonight's long-awaited trailer.

USA Today shared the new image, and reported that the movie will not focus on Spider-Man's origin story—a distinct departure from the Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield films. Instead, Homecoming will follow Peter Parker as he tries to readjust to a normal life following the events of Captain America: Civil War (the film in which Tom Holland made his superhero debut).

The photo features Holland, in his suit but unmasked, on what looks like a roof or platform as a train races by behind him. Take a look here:

The film's first trailer will debut tonight during Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Spider-Man: Homecoming hits theaters July 7, 2017, and stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Donald Glover, Laura Harrier, Tony Revolori, and Robert Downey, Jr.
