Spider-Man: Homecoming - New Trailer Dropping Tomorrow

Set for release in the middle of the summer season, Spider-Man: Homecoming touts itself as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. It might be a bit too early for such predictions, but analysts say that the first Spider-Man movie will open at north of $135 million. Of course, it could be even higher, but the movie is a second reboot, and it has plenty of box office competition, both of which work against any movie.

From what we've seen in the trailers, this Spider-Man is a new type of hero, different from the other Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes and the previous versions of Spider-Man.

Of course, Sony and Marvel are aware that they have a hit on their hands, which works very well for the studios and Tom Holland (who, most recently, was cast as Nathan Drake in Sony's Uncharted movie). With the July release date on the horizon, a final push could make for an even bigger opening weekend than estimated.

So a third, and presumably final, Spider-Man: Homecoming trailer has been announced. The announcement was initially tweeted by Sony Pictures India, but that tweet has since been deleted. Sony Pictures UK's Twitter account did post a different item: a rather peculiar motion poster for the film.

At this point, some fans say that the previous trailers spoiled all of the film’s major scenes. Although there are still plenty of things we don’t know about Spider-Man: Homecoming, we believe that Wednesday’s trailer release will offer no major new reveals.

We expect to see the numbers rise after the new clip is released.

Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit the theaters on the 7th of July.
