RUMOR: Three More Marvel Heroes To Get Netflix Series!

Shows on three more Marvel heroes are reportedly in the works at Netflix!

After Agent Carter was canceled, and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. spinoff Most Wanted didn't get picked up by ABC, fans might be a little concerned about the future of Marvel Television. But there's actually nothing to be anxious about. Daredevil and Jessica Jones have done great on Netflix and other promising shows like Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and The Punisher are about to arrive in the near future.

And it seems like there might be three more Marvel shows in the works. According to the latest rumor dropped by Movie Creed Live, Marvel is developing series around Blade, Moon Knight, and Ghost Rider for the online streaming network!

The report claims that the shows are "on the table" at the moment, and Netflix seems interested enough to approve the ideas. They’re currently in the process of deciding who will be in charge of the shows.

Among the three heroes, Marc Spector, aka Moon Knight, is the only one to have never appeared in a live-action piece. However, we have heard several times since 2006 that the Moon Knight series is in development. The character is often regarded as Marvel's Batman for some key similarities, but obviously there are numerous differences between the two, as well.

Eric Brooks, aka Blade, has appeared in both live-action movies and live-action television series. Wesley Snipes played the vampire hunter in the Blade trilogySticky Fingaz portrayed the role in a short-lived Spike TV show. While the first two movies were pretty well received, the last movie and the television series were hated by most critics and audience.

Johnny Blaze, aka Ghost Rider, had his two standalone movies released 2007 and 2012. Nicolas Cage portrayed the visually-striking character in those movies. We had to watch the second movie to realize that the first one was not that bad!

If there is any truth behind this rumor, we can assume it to be a wise move. All three are pretty dark characters for the Marvel movies but are perfect fits for the Marvel Cinematic Universe portion explored on Netflix.
