This was meant to happen, to have a hardcore fan add Spider-Man to the final trailer of Avengers: Age of Ultron. We’ve had our fair share of mashed-up trailers until now, but this one seems to take the cake.
The video was uploaded on YouTube by IGN and it shows that not just simple fans do these kinds of things. So check it out!
Spider-Man in Age of Ultron
The rumor is that Sony and Marvel were working on a deal to have Spider-Man cameo or have a smaller role in Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, the Sony Hack happened and this was translated in the dropping of the negotiations.
Now we know for certain that Spider-Man will be featured in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War. However, more and more rumors have spread, saying that Age of Ultron also had reshoots, in which the web-slinger could be introduced.
The Smart Thing
Of course, Spider-Man has quite a troubled phase right now, with Andrew Garfield leaving the stage and making way for a younger and better superhero. And IGN takes notice of that, because we actually don’t see the face behind the Spider-Man mask for the entire clip.
However, we do hear the actor talking for a bit – but hey, after all, this is still a fan-made trailer, even if of a better quality.
