Just a month ago, Gotham introduced the younger version of iconic Batman Comics supervillain, The Joker. Even though the origin of the Clown Prince of Crime remains a mystery in the history of DC Comics, the Batman prequel series on Fox took the bold step in defining it with the character named Jerome in the episode The Blind Fortune Teller played by Cameron Monaghan.

Many had criticized Gotham's attempt in introducing The Joker so early but hardly anyone could criticize the single scene demonstration by the actor who is his early twenties. Monaghan's work has been appreciated and many want to know when he would return in Gotham.

In a recent interview with Comic Book Resources, the young actor talked on when he might be seen again in the series. He said, "When I was on set, we discussed the possibly of me coming back in the second or third season. Nothing is set in stone yet. I think the producers have a firm plan for what they want to do, but I was not privy to it while I was filming. I would love to come back and do some more."
