#14: Linseed (Raw or Incorrectly Processed)
Raw flaxseeds and linseeds contain compounds that release cyanide when digested in large quantities. You’ll see linseed as a supplement and in baked goods, but these products are typically processed to remove the toxins. Don’t grind up raw seeds yourself and consume them in bulk; stick to commercial flax products or seeds roasted during baking.
