So Hugh Jackman will portray the Wolverine for the last time in 2017, in the Untitled Wolverine Sequel. We can say that this, until now, is the role of his lifetime - after all, he became famous after appearing in the first X-Men movie and, with Wolverine 3, he will have played it for 17 years straight.

And this is a record. But does this mean that we won't see him until then? What about a Deadpool cameo? What about X-Men: Apocalypse?

Well, we have the answer as to when we will see the angry mutant again!

Wolverine in X-Men: Apocalypse

A while ago, Bryan Singer showed the fans a piece of art for X-Men: Apocalypse, with a rather familiar figure facing what seemed to be a giant spaceship. Obviously, we all believed that this was Wolverine in the face of Apocalypse's lair.

However, not a single once again was this character teased afterwards. Bryan Singer said nothing about him, no official statement was made, and Hugh Jackman didn't appear in any other artworks or leaked set pics.

That is until a couple of days ago, when a sudden announcement was made, by an unofficial source.

The big announcement

It was Kika NY, a Brooklyn based company who produces custom made leathery goods, who made this announcement on Instagram. According to that announcement, they were asked to make a special duffle backpack for Hugh Jackman, who is currently filming X-Men: Apocalypse.

Sure enough, as said, this is an unofficial sources, so why would we believe it? Well, because today that Instagram pic was deleted, in a way confirming that Wolverine will indeed be in X-Men: Apocalypse. What other reason would there be for the pic to be deleted if it wasn't truthful?

So there you have it: we're glad that Wolverine will be in X-Men: Apocalypse. However, as we are certain that Kika NY has lost the job, we are sorry for this.
