Stephen Amell, star of the Arrow series, is now also a main star of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 - he is Casey Jones, a vigilante, who befriends especially Raphael and who showed an interest in April O'Neil.

Sure enough, this is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, so this might not be the news that you've been searching for. However, now we know how Casey Jones will look in the movie and we can say that we are pleased by what we are seeing.

As said, Stephen Amell is Casey Jones and he is one of the new additions to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. And this might just be enough to make this sequel a success, pretty much like the first one (who more than tripled its budget, but was destroyed by the critics).

So what do you think? Casey Jones looks pretty badass, doesn't he? Well, while we can expect from this sequel to follow the path taken by the first one (as in a rather flimsy plot plus lots of eye candy), we cannot say that the movie hasn't attracted the stars.

So yes, the fans may believe that Stephen Amell shouldn't have taken on this role, because he plays a too an iconic character in the DC shared universe. However, the actor did say that an official synopsis hasn't been revealed yet, let alone a trailer.

So maybe we should do that and not bash Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 just yet - after all, if Stephen Amell was interested in playing Casey Jones, maybe there is something to it.

Still, the first one was actually lame, so…
