Wolverine 3: Director Teases Footage

The latest news from the set of Wolverine 3 saw Bryan Singer revealing the villain (or one of the villains) of the movie. Thus, after a long wait, Mister Sinister will be arriving on the big screen, most likely portrayed by Richard E. Grant. James Mangold (who also directed The Wolverine) finished shooting in mid-August, for a March 2017 release date.

So we can expect, from here on, the marketing campaign of the final Wolverine flick to kick in. The buzz has been very low until now - however, in the following weeks we can expect posters and even a first trailer.

And this isn't just a rumor. James Mangold himself took it to Twitter, saying that “things will start bubbling out from under the lid very soon”. So, basically, this was a tease for an upcoming trailer. We don't know about you, but we are excited to see it, especially since this will be the last X-Men franchise outing for both Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart.

So when could the trailer hit? Most likely, a teaser for the final Wolverine flick will arrive on the 4th of November, together with Doctor Strange. However, before that, Fox might want to sell some more tickets for Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, directed by Tim Burton, by attaching a first trailer to it.

Lastly, another occasion would be when Assassin's Creed, starring Michael Fassbender (who is also the young Magneto in the X-Men movies), is released on the 21st of December. Both the Tim Burton flick and Assassin's Creed aren't tracking too well at this moment - so Fox should really consider boosting their sales with Wolverine clips.

Last year, Deadpool was the first superhero flick of the year - and, even if R-rated, it broke all possible records.

Will Wolverine 3 prove to be a monster hit as well?
