While the shooting of Star Wars Episode VIII has already begun, we know little to nothing about this next episode of the epic space opera. We know who will return, we can speculate about what will happen next, but other than that"¦
And we can't say that we will find out something too certain, too soon. As everybody saw with The Force Awakens, these projects tend to be more than just secretive.
Now, thanks to We Got This Covered, we may have found out the possible titles for Star Wars VIII. According to the website, there are two possible titles for the sequel, which are taken into account by Disney. Quite frankly, neither of them sounds too good to us.
But, hey, this is just a rumor - so maybe that is why they are so unappealing.
The website reports that the producers are taking into account Star Wars: Tale of the Jedi Temple and Star Wars: The Order of the Dark Side as titles. But it also notes that these may just be working titles for the much anticipated movie. And this sounds a bit off to us, since big blockbusters don't usually have the name of the franchise in their working titles.
We Got This Covered also notes that Star Wars: Tale of the Jedi Temple is the most plausible, given the way in which The Force Awakens ended (with Rey reaching Luke Skywalker). But it also reports that Star Wars: The Order of the Dark Side could also be it, since it may hint at the reveal of the big villains and the exploration of their history and motives.
Star Wars Episode VIII will be released on the 17th of December 2017.
In other Star Wars-related news, Disney has announced the release date of the Digital HD and Blu-ray Combo and DVD for The Force Awakens. The fans can order the latest installment on Digital HD on the 1st of April, while the Blu-ray and DVD will be available starting from the 5th of April.
A trailer was also released - one which includes deleted scenes! (more in here)
