Rogue One is one of the most anticipated movies of 2016, a year already filled with some of the most expected blockbusters in the recent years. That is why every piece of information is very important, since it might reveal something new about the plot of the movie. Unfortunately, this isn't the case. What we have now is a more detailed look at the costumes and weapons which will be used by the Rogue One main stars.

The first photo showcases the outfits of some of the characters from the first official pic - and they seem to be lifted right out of the original trilogy. Which is very good, considering that Rogue One will take place sometime before A New Hope.

The second outfit belongs to the character portrayed by Diego Luna and resembles Han Solo's attire back on Hoth. Could it be because the movie will return to that planet? We doubt it, even if the promotional art showed a major battle in a rather icy environment.

The third costume belongs, reportedly, to the character portrayed by Jiang Wen - this character will most likely be the heavy-hitter of the group, based on the big gun it sports.

Lastly, there are two other costumes, one belonging with certainty to Felicity Jones' character. The rumor is that she will portray the daughter of Mads Mikkelsen's character and that she will try to atone for her father's sins.

Also, this closer look at the outfits further makes us believe that they are all bounty-hunters tasked with stealing the Death Star plans, or at least some outlaws who volunteered for the job in order to have their past mistakes erased.

Courtesy of Making Star Wars, we also have the newest details concerning Forest Whitaker's character in Rogue One. According to the website, the character is a veteran of some sorts, who lost one of his legs in some previous battles. While it isn't known whether his accident occurred during the Clone Wars or while fighting the Empire, the website is most certain that this character is one of the good guys.

If you are wondering what a one-legged veteran can do against the empire, the website also says that he has a robotic leg, as well as a cane.

Rogue One is rumored to debut its first trailer with the release of Captain America: Civil War.
