Rogue One seems to be the latest movie to have certain plot points revealed via merchandise. And this seems a bit strange, given the secrecy surrounding its predecessor, The Force Awakens. So take this with a grain of salt, if you will, until some official information is revealed.
Making Star Wars, the go-to site as far as Star Wars rumors are concerned, reports that Lego exhibited quite a few Star Wars related products at the Nuremberg Toy Fair last weekend. The usual classic Star Wars toys were featured, as well as the most recent offerings from The Force Awakens. But a photo taken for the Rogue One line seems to have revealed that yet another fan favorite character from a galaxy far, far away will make an appearance in this year's Star Wars Story.
See the pic below. You can see what thumbnail was chosen for Rogue One: Boba Fett's ship Slave 1.
It is within the realm of possibility that Boba Fett could make an appearance, since it is well-known that bounty hunters will play an important role in the story. And since Rogue One will take place sometime between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, we can expect to see how Boba Fett became so famous.
Boba Fett is just one of the iconic characters from the original trilogy rumored to appear in this latest installment. Darth Vader and Han Solo are also believed to cameo.
Having the bounty hunter appear in the movie creates an opportunity for Disney to add yet another ship to the toy line (the Millennium Falcon and Poe Dameron's X-Wing are the most well-known among the toy ships).
What do you think, though? Will Boba Fett appear in this movie?
As an even more exciting possibility, will he actually disintegrate someone in Rogue One?
