Cosplayer Melissa Croft shows what Deadpool and Spider-Man might look like in the post-scenes of fighting each other with amazing attention to detail bodypaint.
Melissa Croft, a talented bodypaint artist and cosplayer, recently shared on Twitter new images of her amazing bodypaint depictions of Marvel characters, Deadpool and Spider-Man.
The images showcase Croft painted as both superheroes, with their suits appearing damaged in what looks like a fierce battle between them. Croft invites fans to decide who won the fight between Deadpool and Spider-Man. Both costumes display similar injuries, with minor tears on the upper chest and neck, and significant tears to the heroes’ masks revealing their eyes, nose, and mouth.
When news broke in 2019 that Deadpool would be joining the MCU, many fans eagerly speculated that the wise-cracking anti-hero might appear in the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home film. While Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige initially dismissed these rumors, he didn’t completely rule out the possibility.
“We’re certainly having conversations about the future of all of those Fox properties,” he said at the time. “How to weave them in and when to weave them in. That one, in particular, is not the case.”
Official information about the plot and cast of Deadpool 3 has not been released by Marvel Studios. While it has been confirmed that Ryan Reynolds will reprise his role as Deadpool, the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine has also been announced. However, Reynolds has stated that the events of Deadpool 3 will not impact the storyline of Logan, which takes place in 2029 and concluded with Wolverine’s death.
Reynolds’ Wade Wilson and Jackman’s Wolverine will finally share the screen together again in Deadpool 3, marking their first on-screen appearance since X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009. While Zazie Beetz is set to reprise her role as Domino from Deadpool 2, no other actors, including potential crossover characters from the MCU, have been confirmed yet. Marvel Studios has not released any official details regarding the casting or plot of the film.
