Jennifer Aniston has played a wide range of characters over her almost three-decade-long acting career, but she has never portrayed a superhero. But unlike many other Hollywood A-listers who’ve avoided working in this genre due to their own unwillingness, the 47-year-old actress is still waiting for her first call from a franchise.
During her recent visit to Chelsea Handler's Netflix show, Aniston revealed that she would be interested in playing a superhero, but she’s never been offered such a role. The topic popped up when the Friends star was asked about the possibility of returning to the small screen. In response, she confirmed her interest in doing television again, and added:
I really do believe the shows are more interesting, there's more opportunity for women"¦ unless they want you as a superhero, which "” that just hasn't come into my email box or whatever.
When Handler asked what she would do if she received an offer to play a superhero, Aniston responded:
I would be psyched! But I would want to be the really uncoordinated superhero, because I just "” I couldn't take myself seriously leaping out of somewhere in a full leather something. I don't know what I just described. Maybe that was Halle Berry"¦[she] could do this for the rest of her life.

This isn't the first time Jennifer Aniston has expressed her desire to play a superhero. She did so a couple of years ago during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, saying, "I really do want to be a superhero, too. I’ve said it! But wouldn’t that be fun?"
