Jason Fuchs makes his way through to the keenly awaited Wonder Woman, due for arrival in theaters on June 23rd, 2017. Rumor has it the previously submitted script was dispensed with by Warner Bros., and that made way to the emergence of a new writer to undertake the screenplay. On top of that, with Michelle MacLaren taking the reins of Wonder Woman, it's really no surprise the coming of a new screenwriter is embraced with such enthusiasm.
The fact Jason Fuchs is in talks with the bigwigs of DC Entertainmnet and Warner Bros. is confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter. However, Warner Bros. voiced nothing about the said negotiations. But things do seem too look up to Fuchs's career.
Jason Fuchs's credentials
His sole credit as screenwriter so far remains Ice Age: Continental Drift. Jason Fuchs's other feat is yet to be assessed: we will all make an idea about it upon the release of Pan in mid-July, 2015. In the meanwhile, Wonder Woman keeps on an upbeat track, with plenty of celebs crewing on the set in order to keep both Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment happy.
Who else is there?
Breaking Bad producer Michelle MacLaren was one of the first brought in on the team. She will direct Wonder Woman and also chip in to the screenplay as co-writer next to the newly acquired Jason Fuchs.
With a handful of producers, Wonder Woman's chances of falling short of any fan's expectations are close to nothing. Benny Medina, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder, Richard Suckle and honored Charles Roven - known for its longstanding career with DC Entertainment - are on board.
Last but definitely not least, Gal Gadot is expected to play an unprecedentedly rad Wonder Woman. Do you believe Jason Fuchs's arrival augurs well for the upcoming hit of DC Comics? Chime in and have your say on this matter!
