We weren’t expecting to see photos from the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix already. But the most recent Entertainment Weekly cover features Sophie Turner as Jean Grey in full Dark Phoenix mode. Inside the magazine, the story also reveals Jessica Chastain's character.
We also have some new details about Chastain’s mysterious role. Everybody assumed that the character was Empress Lilandra of the Shi'ar Empire, but the actress denied it. And now it’s been confirmed that her character is a shapeshifting alien. There’s been quite a bit of speculation that the Skrulls will make their Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in 2018, rather than in 2019’s Captain Marvel.

But who’s dead? Is it Jean Grey? Is it Magneto? Beast is also missing"¦But maybe it’s Jennifer Lawrence’s character! The actress has said more than once that she'd like to move on from this role.
