Last week’s hot scoop said that Sony might finally have made a breakthrough with its planned Valiant Movie Universe after engaging in talks with Jared Leto about the Bloodshot role. Of course, it’s a scoop, and it should be taken with a grain of salt. However, this newest reveal could be a hint that the Valiant Movie Universe is moving forward.
Wrestler-turned-actor Dave Bautista (the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s loveable, albeit not comic book-accurate, Drax the Destroyer), said on his Twitter page that a script is currently being written and tweaked, with the goal of making it fan-worthy:

Glad you asked cuz I’m really excited about EW. We are currently working to get the script fan-worthy and then we’ll be full on from there. https://t.co/aHO7DVPBVY

Of course, while this appears to be a confirmation, it’s still not official. Dinesh Shamdasani, the CEO & Chief Creative Officer at Valiant, jokingly replied to a question from a fan:
I can neither confirm nor deny that @DaveBautista just revealed a giant secret lol!

If Sony is indeed working on an Eternal Warrior adaptation, its Valiant Movie Universe must be bigger than assumed, since we only knew about a Bloodshot/Harbinger shared universe. And Dave Bautista is certainly up for the role.
In addition to appearing in both Guardians of the Galaxy movies, and being confirmed for Avengers: Infinity War, Bautista also had roles in Spectre and Riddick. He’s also grabbed a mysterious role in the anticipated Blade Runner 2049.
What do you think? Is Sony planning to give us another shared universe? If so, will it be any good?

Given Dave Bautista's prior roles, we can certainly see him in the role of Valiant's Eternal Warrior.
