X-Men: Dark Phoenix Has Apparently Found Its Dazzler!

It seems like X-Men: Dark Phoenix has found its Dazzler!

Although there’s been no official announcement, it appears that 20th Century Fox has already signed an actress to play Alison Blaire, aka Dazzler, in X-Men: Dark Phoenix!

In June, we came across a rumored casting breakdown for the upcoming mainstream X-Men installment that hinted at the arrival of the mutant pop star. Later that month, another report confirmed that Dazzler will indeed show up in the movie. And now, all evidence indicates that Halston Sage (You Get Me and The Orville) has landed the role.

Earlier this month, Christopher Marc of Omega Underground tweeted that the 24-year-old Sage and Suki Waterhouse (The White Princess) were both in the running for the role that many once thought would go to pop singer Taylor Swift. At about the same time, Sage was spotted in an Instagram photo hanging out with X-Men: Dark Phoenix cast members at a Hans Zimmer concert in Montreal, where the movie had been filming for a couple of months. Check out the tweet and the photo below!

And that's not all! One of the movie's stuntmen recently posted – and later deleted – a selfie on Instagram that showed headshots of the cast members in the background. One was of Jessica Chastain, who confirmed that she’d joined the Simon Kinberg flick as Empress Lilandra. Another appears to be a shot of Halston Sage. Check out the photo below!

Omega Underground also offered an update on the production of X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The November 2, 2018 release’s working title is Teen Spirit, and the website spotted it on a list of projects that will be filmed in New York City. Check out the screenshot below!
