Stan Lee Names His Favorite MCU Actor and Cameo

Stan Lee

As far as the Marvel Cinematic Universe is concerned, we can only thank one man only: Stan Lee, the living legend who has created most of the characters that we now see on the silver screens. From 2008's Iron Man to 2015's Ant-Man, we've had our fair share of awesome superhero movies, with many more to follow in the years to come.

But we must choose now, just like Stan Lee has. Not our favorite character (how can one do that?), but our favorite actor from the MCU. So who could that be?

Our favorite MCU actor

As said in here, regarding only Avengers: Age of Ultron, there can be only one actor who can top such a list. And that actor isn't Robert Downey Jr. any longer. Instead, that actor is none other than Chris Evans, who portrays Captain America to perfection.

He is the epitome of the soldier who would give his own life in order to save the others. He is the only one of the Avengers about whom you would believe he will stand to these principles. Chris Evans makes us believe in the character and actually root for him.

You can say that The First Avenger was, actually, a giant advert for the first Avengers film. However, since 2011, the character has developed, becoming the best in the MCU. We can thank the writers for this - but we can thank Chris Evans even more than that.

So who is Stan Lee's favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe actor? Check out on the next page!

Stan Lee's favorite MCU actor is"¦

Since 2008, Robert Downey Jr. has been the face of the MCU. The most bankable of its stars, we cannot help to believe that he can actually pull some strings as far as the production of these movies is concerned.

However, he isn't Stan Lee's favorite actor in the whole MCU. In a recent interview with Larry King, Stan Lee said: “Chris, the fellow who plays Captain America. He was The Human Torch… and then they made him Captain America. He’s the greatest guy!

What else can be said? Chris Evans has portrayed not one, but two Marvel superheroes crated by Stan Lee, both of which are essential (or, at least, used to be, for the comic book readers): Human Torch and Captain America. It is a given.

However, this isn't the only reason why Stan Lee likes him the best - as we all know, Chris Evans is also the go-to guy when it comes to having fun on the set.

Of course, a diplomat, Stan Lee then said: “But I love them all!”

Speaking of Chris Evans, check out the next page to see what plans the actor has for Captain America!

A couple of years ago, before Captain America: The Winter Soldier hit the big screens, Stan Lee's favorite MCU actor said that he cannot wait to end his contract with Marvel in order to focus on directing.

However, his opinion has now changed. Check this one out:

Stan Lee's favorite cameo is in"¦

Over the course of years, Stan Lee has appeared in cameos is about 20 movies - all of which were superhero ones. His first one was back in 1989, in The Trial of the Incredible Hulk (not counting the voice-over for the 1980's Spider-Man and Hulk TV series).

So which one of these cameos is the one he found the most significant? Well, be surprised: you haven't seen it yet!

In the same interview with Larry King, Stan Lee named the X-Men: Apocalypse cameo as being the most important: “This cameo is different than any I have ever done before, because I did it with another person who is very important to me. I can’t tell you more than that! The whole world is now saying […] ‘Who could possibly be that important to Stan?!’ This is gonna become the biggest talking point throughout the country!

Who could that person be? Is it his wife, Joan B. Lee? Is it one of the Simonsons, the co-creators of Apocalypse himself? Who is that?
