Spider-Man: Homecoming Plot Leaked Online

Spider-Man and Iron Man

Those who want to know more about Spider-Man’s first MCU outing should be aware that the vast majority of scripts that are leaked online have nothing to do with what ends up being released on the big screen. So, while you should have at least a teaspoon of salt at your side while reading this, consider everything that follows a potential spoiler.

And remember, you were warned!

Still here?

4chan - still here? Good. This could be some fanfiction - however, it ties in very well with everything we know about Spider-Man, the larger MCU, and even about the darker Netflix corners of the shared universe.

In short, Spider-Man will keep himself busy at the beginning of the movie with all sorts of lower-tier villains (they don't even have names), while also taking pics from his adventures and selling them to the Daily Bugle (of course, JJ Jameson tries to screw him over every time an opportunity presents itself). As the website reports, this is just the tip of the iceberg as far as Peter Parker's problems are concerned.

Homecoming isn't at all about the first time when Spider-Man wore the black symbiote suit. Instead, it refers to the ball held at Parker's school at the end of the year. So there is no Venom just yet in the MCU – however, there is a possibility that Dark Reign will be adapted after the Infinity War (or, at least, this is how it appears).

And that is because of Norman Osborn (not a supervillain), who builds an empire out of the remains of SHIELD, and hires all the scientists who are now jobless. One of them is Otto Octavius - who is NOT the villain of the film, but just an Easter-Egg. Also among the scientists is Adrian Toomes, who has developed a winged exosuit similar in technology with the one used by Tony Stark. However, since he wasn't able to reproduce the arc reactor technology, the suit feeds on the wearer's vitality - nonetheless, the name The Vulture comes from his ability to renew and reinvent technology.

The suit isn't finished by a long shot - but Osborn's greedy, and he ends up wearing it anyway, feeding  on other people's vitality, just like in the comics. The homecoming dance is when the Vulture will confront Spider-Man, twice.

Spider-Man is helped by Tony Stark, who is unable to intervene because of the Accords. However, he is able to help Peter Parker develop a counter-technology to the vulture tech. The second encounter between the villain and the hero ends with the latter's victory.

In the end, when all is well, another homecoming dance is held (since the first was ruined by the supervillain). Tony Stark drops off another suit at Aunt May's, but this time it’s a suit for the dance. Aunt May arranges the perfect date for Parker: Mary Jane.

In the end, it is revealed that Osborn has known all along who Spider-Man is, and that he has been keeping track of Parker's evolution as a hero from the moment he was bitten by the radioactive spider.

Obviously, this is just a summary of the Spider-Man: Homecoming plot. However, it is worth a read in its entirety - so you can check it out here.
