We don't know exactly when Deadpool 2 will hit the theaters, but we do know that it's going to happen. After the original movie's outstanding success, 20th Century Fox wouldn't cancel the sequel under any circumstances. About the sequel to Tim Miller's surprise blockbuster, we also know that it will feature the character Nathan Summers, aka Cable.
Who would portray the time-traveling son of Scott Summers, aka Cyclops? Well, we don't have an answer, because the studio has yet to confirm an actor for the role. But we do have a variety of answers to this question: Who SHOULD play Cable alongside Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool!
Some fans think that one actor would make the perfect Cable, while some others suggest another. We’ve heard the names of at least a dozen actors. One name that stands out is that of Ron Perlman. And if you are one of those who consider the Hellboy and Sons of Anarchy star as the best fit for the role, the good news is that he’s interested in playing the character!

And that's not all that Perlman has posted on social media in the last twenty-four hours as he campaigns for the role of Cable. You can check out his official Twitter account for a bunch more!
Ron Perlman isn't the first actor (and not even the second one) to have expressed his desire to portray the mutant in the second Deadpool movie. Avatar star Stephen Lang and The Punisher star Dolph Lundgren have also pitched their names for the role of Cable.
