Elizabeth Olsen would love to team up with Tom Holland in a future Marvel Cinematic Universe installment.
Olsen, who plays Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, was among several Marvel stars who made an appearance at the recent Ace Comic Con in Seattle. In response to a Q&A panel question about characters who would make good partners for Scarlet Witch, the 29-year-old actress said that her first choice would be Peter Parker, aka the cute and funny Spider-Man (via ComicBook), then added that she was impressed with Holland's portrayal of the superhero:
I kind of want to play with Spider-Man, right? He’s cute. And he’s really funny. I think Holland’s killing it, and he’s so, so fun.
The Ace attendee who asked the question mentioned that Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), is known for his wicked good looks. Olsen’s response:
But Sebastian’s cool [Laughs]. He might be opposite of cool…hot?
Back to Olsen and Holland. They both appeared in the MCU installments Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, but they didn’t interact much in either. Their characters were on separate teams in Civil War – Spider-Man with Team Iron Man and Scarlet Witch with Team Cap – and they were in completely different parts of the universe in Infinity War. One thing they did have in common was that both succumbed to Thanos' infamous finger-snap, so they might become better acquainted while trapped in the Soul Stone. Could that lead to a team-up in Avengers 4?
