UPDATE: The rumor about three more X-Force characters appearing in Deadpool 2 has been debunked by its co-writer Rhett Reese. You can check out his tweets by scrolling down to the bottom of the page.
Deadpool 2 will apparently set up the X-Force movie in an even grander way than we expected. A new report suggests that the movie will include cameos from three additional team members.
The second standalone movie for the Merc with a Mouth already had an abundance of mutants, including Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Cable, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Stefan Kapicic as Colossus. But it appears that lead actor/producer Ryan Reynolds and director David Leitch felt that even more were needed.
If a new Comic Book report is to be believed, Reynolds and Leitch are determined to introduce Sunspot, Feral, and Shatterstar in a Deadpool 2 post-credits scene. The three mutants would eventually join Reynolds, Beetz, and Brolin's characters in the X-Force movie. According to the report, 20th Century Fox hasn't signed anyone for the roles, but they’ve sent out a casting call.
The addition of Roberto da Costa, aka Sunspot, seems a bit strange, since Josh Boone had already added him to the team roster for his New Mutants movie. The mutant is able to absorb and channel solar power, and has been a member of Marvel Comics’ New Mutants and X-Force. Given the continuity issues in Fox’s X-Men Universe, we’re inclined to wonder how that might play out.
Like Sunspot, Gaveedra-Seven (Shatterstar) and Maria Callasantos (Feral), have been members of both mutant teams, but neither was included on the roster for the April 13, 2018 release. So the notion that they might appear in the June 1, 2018 release doesn't seem odd.

With respect to Deadpool 2, false stories have outnumbered true stories by a large, large margin. Stay skeptical. Avoid the worst offenders.
