Iron Man and Captain America apparently aren’t going to let bygones be bygones in Avengers: Infinity War. Once again, we can expect to see some sort of confrontation between the two.
In 2016’s Captain America: Civil War, Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) and Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) locked horns over some ideological issues, causing a rift within the Avengers team. They went their separate ways at the end of that movie, but the rift needs to be mended in preparation for Thanos’ invasion in Avengers: Infinity War.
Earth will need its mightiest heroes to set aside their past differences and unite against the Mad Titan. That’s not likely to be a piece of cake, especially for Iron Man and Captain America.
RDJ teased that there would be a confrontation in the May 4, 2018 release during a new interview with USA Today:
That's the hardest for me, because I look at Evans, and I just to want to go over and smell him, or tell him he looks cool in those sunglasses when he's walking over to have lunch. And then I'm just staring daggers at him, getting mad. But even that relationship is going to take a turn.
There were plenty of cool moments in the first Avengers: Infinity War trailer, but Iron Man and Captain America never appeared together. We believe that they’ll patch up their relationship in the end. Whether that moment will come after an exchange of insults – or even fists – remains to be seen.

Expect X-Men: Dark Phoenix To Go Cosmic But Don't Expect It To Be An Interstellar Romp!
Earlier this year, producer Hutch Parker teased that X-Men: Dark Phoenix would be taking the mutants into space. But later, director Simon Kinberg shared that he wanted to ensure that the movie doesn't become "too intergalactic". Now, Sophie Turner - who portrays Jean Grey – has come forward to shed some light on the matter.
In a new interview published in the latest issue of Empire (via Twitter user @THGDistrict3), Turner confirms that the mutants will definitely be venturing beyond the Earth in X-Men: Dark Phoenix. She says:
The X-Men go cosmic. That element is in there somewhere.
However, the British actress also insists that it would be incorrect to consider the upcoming November 2, 2018 release as an interstellar romp. Labeling the movie as "a dark, gritty drama", she goes on to claim that it's "so different from any other X-Men." She adds:
We are revolutionizing it. We wanted to create a whole new genre of superhero movie.
Simon Kinberg's directorial debut isn't 21st Century Fox's first attempt to adapt The Dark Phoenix Saga as Brett Ratner's X-Men: The Last Stand too was based on the iconic Marvel Comics storyline. Among the hundreds of flaws that particular movie embodies, a notable one is that there's hardly any effort in depicting Jean Grey's epic torments as she inwardly struggled with the powerful cosmic entity known as the Phoenix Force.
However, X-Men: Dark Phoenix has it placed front and center with Kinberg promising that the depiction is going to be "bold" and "radical". Turner explains:
Once I got the script though, I realized that not only were we telling this amazing superhero story, but were also telling a very personal story as well, one which required research into mental-health issues. Because that is a big part of what drives the story. I mainly drew inspiration from multiple personality disorder and schizophrenia, as it really is about duality, this movie. Darkness and light - that's all within her. This sense of her being a completely other person and struggling with that.
Recently we came across a bunch of scanned low-resolution photos from X-Men: Dark Phoenix that are featured on the magazine issue. One of them showed a bruised and bloodied Magneto lying unconscious on the ground. Its official high-resolution version has made its way online. You can check it out below!
