In March 19, 2019, Captain Marvel will debut on theaters as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's first female superhero standalone installment. Already a number of actresses have expressed their interest to play Carol Danvers "“ including The Art of the Steal star Katheryn Winnick, Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Holland and more recently, Furious 7 star Ronda Rousey. Now, we have another name to add to the list!
And the name is Olivia Wilde! It all started on the social networking site Twitter last week when a fan asked Meadowland director Reed Morano if she be interested to direct Captain Marvel for the MCU with her Meadowland lead star playing the titular role.
