Before Ant-Man was released (from the time the movie was announced, actually), many had assumed that the size-shrinking superhero's solo outing would do the weakest ever box office performance by a Marvel Cinematic Universe installment. Thanks to the Chinese box office, that theory has not only been debunked but also that the movie has exceeded the milestone of grossing $500 million worldwide.
That's old news now, but what's new is that a couple of alternate costume designs of the wrongly underestimated superhero have surfaced on web. Conceptual illustrator Andy Park, who has been involved in a number of Marvel Studios projects, has recently shared these designs via his Twitter account. The texts accompanied with the images reveal that he had to do a whole bunch of designs before Marvel picked the one that we eventually saw in the movie.
Here Are The Two Alternate Ant-Man Costume Designs!

Would either of these have been a better pick for Paul Rudd's Ant-Man?
Adam McKay Open To Return For Ant-Man and The Wasp!

Marvel has already announced that Ant-Man will get a sequel released summer 2018 titled Ant-man and The Wasp. Apart from Rudd and Evangeline Lily, the director of the original Peyton Reed will also be returning for the sequel. And it seems like the Ant-Man co-writer Adam McKay might as well return to craft the script of Ant-Man and the Wasp. At least, he seems open enough to do it!
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Adam revealed that he had recently talked to the titular star Paul Rudd about Ant-Man and the Wasp. He added:
"We'll see what happens, but that would certainly be fun. I loved working with Marvel. And I have a couple of projects in development. One of them is more dramatic, one's more comedy, still with a little bit of political teeth to it. And there's a TV show idea I've been kicking around."
I don't see a reason why Marvel would not be interested to ask Adam McKay to return for Ant-Man and the Wasp, do you?
