Hulkbuster – Under Ultron’s Control

Hulk vs. Hulkbuster

Without a doubt, one of the highlights of Avengers: Age of Ultron will be the fight between Hulk and Iron Man wearing the Hulkbuster armor. We knew this will be big ever since Marvel released the first concept art for the film, teasing an uneven battle between the two - and we still didn't know why it was uneven, given how massive the Hulkbuster looked near the Hulk.

And now we had the trailer, which put everything in a different perspective. Until then, we had no idea as to why the Hulk will become so enraged that he could attack is fellow Avengers Tony Stark. Blame it on the anger, right?

And we thought that Scarlet Witch had cast a spell on the Hulk and Iron Man went to stop him.

We may have been wrong.

The revealing Lego Set

But now we have the Lego Sets - and the German version contains one called Hulkbuster Rescue Mission, in which we see the Hulk entrapped in some sort of device, Scarlet Witch hovering above him, the Hulkbuster suit looking mighty offensive and Ultron.

Now a Lego Set will most likely not say explicitly what will happen in the film. However, it will respect it. In this case, Scarlet Witch seems to come to Hulk's rescue, which has a defensive stance when compared to the massive armor. Furthermore, Ultron's stance is very suggestive.

Is Ultron controlling the Hulkbuster?

Ultron is known to control all types of machines and technologies. Furthermore, his aim is to exterminate all humans on Earth - so enslaving the Hulk by using Scarlet Witch's powers doesn't add. However, he may have taken control of the colossal Hulkbuster, especially since he knows that the suit was especially built to stop the Hulk.

Where does that leave Tony Stark? Of course, he may not even be in the suit. However, his Iron Man suit is also susceptible of being controlled by Ultron - which also leads us to believe that Tony Stark is a prisoner in his own armor (much like what happened to War Machine in Iron Man 2).

How does that sound to you? Is it plausible? We believe it is.
