New Avengers: Infinity War Character Posters!

Marvel has released 22 new character posters for Avengers: Infinity War!

With Avengers: Infinity War scheduled for a worldwide release in just a few short weeks, Marvel just shared a number of new promotional posters online for fans to enjoy.

The studio previously released five character posters that each featured several heroes from the April 27 release. With the exception of one poster that features both Groot and Rocket, their latest offering largely consists of individual portraits of the same characters, so again, Hawkeye, Ant-Man, and Captain Marvel are not in evidence.

Marvel’s taking a unique approach to keeping a lid on any potential Infinity War spoilers. For example, rather than rolling out the movie in international markets prior to its US release, they’re going to release it simultaneously throughout the world. In addition, the review embargo will be kept in effect for a longer period of time than usual.

In addition, directors Joe and Anthony Russo took to social media to post a letter to fans. With the hashtag #ThanosDemandsYourSilence, the missive demonstrated their seriousness about doing everything possible to prevent leaks. Here's the letter and some responses from cast members!

The letter posted by the Russo Brothers
The Russo Brothers’ note to fans (via Twitter)

As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
