Is it so far-fetched to assume working Spider-Man in could come in tail with this fierce antagonist? Bringing the Green Goblin makes so much sense.
Secondly, it's not just the fact the Green Goblin is Spider-Man's nemesis. Norman Osborn has plenty of experience with covert government affairs.
In the comic books, Norman Osborn used to lead the Thunderbolts, a team put together in an effort to regulate superhuman activity.
And before becoming the Green Goblin, Osborn also ran a team of deceitful Avengers. So, he's no stranger to how such things work.
Which means the Green Goblin could also make for the lead antagonist in Captain America: Civil War. Though that means he would steal Baron Zemo's thunder.
Now, what do you think of that? Is this a realistic theory? Could they actually slot the Green Goblin in, mostly considering the comic book mythology favors such a development?
And if they do, which of the actors would you like to see reprising their role as Norman Osborn? Willem Dafoe did deliver a convincing Spidey enemy, but I wouldn't rule out Chris Cooper either.
Well, in case they do decide to bring the Green Goblin to Civil War and not recast the role again. Have your say below!
