Back in 1969, Marvel Comics introduced the first mainstream African-American superhero in Captain America #117. It was Sam Wilson aka Falcon. Last year we saw the big-screen live action adaptation for the first time in the second installment of Captain America named The Winter Soldier. The 36-year-old actor Anthony Mackie was the man playing the role.
But that's not the end of Falcon in big screen. Anthony will reprise his role in the next Captain America venture as well. There's hardly anyone who would say that they have a problem with Anthony's portrayal of the character. The only thing that they can complain is the suit. It hasn't impressed everyone, especially the ones who are well-acquainted with the comic books.
New Photo, New Looks!
A couple of weeks back, the actor promised that the new Falcon suit for Civil War would be better than the one we've seen in The Winter Soldier. But he provided no further details on how it would look like. Now, we have a photo up on web which isn't surely any official first look for the character in the upcoming Captain America venture, rather someone has made it by some Photoshop effects. However, this one seems to remind us of the iconic Falcon looks in the comics! Here's that one for you!
Some Falcon Concept Arts!
We don't have any new concept art of Falcon in Civil War popped out, all we have is a number of those from The Winter Soldiers that you may or may not have seen. Let's check them out and share how Falcon suit in Civil War should look like!
