Protecting the galaxy may not be an easy job, but neither is tolerating Drax the Destroyer's loud slurping! And that's what Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Baby Groot, and Nebula are forced to deal with in the new Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer tease!
A few days ago, we learned that a two-minute, 20-second trailer for the James Gunn flick had been classified. Later, it was revealed that Chris Pratt would bring the trailer to ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, February 28, 2017, but Marvel Studios hadn’t confirmed it.
The studio has finally announced that the new 27-second Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer will be released today. We won’t see a flashy action sequence, nor will we hear a humorous punch-line. In fact, the only words uttered here are "Dude" and "What", with each being used twice.
But those aren't the only sounds heard in the clip, thanks to Dave Bautista's Drax and his loud slurping as he guzzles his soup. His teammates clearly aren’t happy with the bizarre sound effects. Check it out below!

Following the leaked first look at Kurt Russell's Ego the Living Planet, we might expect the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 to feature a glimpse of that character. If we’re really lucky, we may also get our first look at Sylvester Stallone's as-yet unnamed Nova Corps member. And maybe it’s safe to assume that the trailer will show us some far more glamorous sequences than the one in the above video!
Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill's true parentage. Old foes become new allies, and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes' aid, as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.
