Spider-Man, Captain America and Iron Man as a part of the same universe?
Who would not love to watch a movie where Spider-Man sharing screens with Captain America and Iron Man as a part of the same universe? Obviously, most of you would love to see that! It hasn't been possible yet as the rights of these superhero characters belong to two different banners, Sony and Marvel Studio. But the latest reports add some possibility to such a movie in future as Sony and Marvel are in talks at the corporate levels.
Marvel doesn't really need Spider-Man
Marvel doesn't really need Spider-Man as they have succeeded in recent times introducing a whole lot of new superheroes and their future plans seem to be focused on these characters. The story is contradictory in Sony. Their most important superhero Spider-Man is witnessing a fall. Amazing Spider-Man 2 was the least grossing film of all the Spider-Man movies and grossed 60 million US dollar less than the first of the Amazing Spider-Man series. So, it would be great for Sony if their Amazing Spider-Man is sharing screens with Marvel superheroes to rebuild the character's dying attraction.
Kevin Fiege would love to have Spider-Man back
Despite of their not having the real need to bring Spider-Man in their movies, a previous statement from Marvel president Kevin Fiege provides some daylight to the rumor. Kevin stated that he would love to have Spider-Man back on Marvel Comic Universe if provided with the opportunity with the chance to get a superhero back. He also believed that Spider-Man fits very well with the Avengers universe. As the relation between Marvel and Sony is far better than that between Marvel and Fox, the owners of rights of X-Men and Fantastic Four characters, chances of watching Amazing Spider-Man paired with the Avengers on big screen is far greater than that of watching Wolverine paired with them.
