The first Black Panther trailer was amazing, but the movie was left by the wayside after the release of the first Avengers: Infinity War trailer. At one point Marvel’s most anticipated 2018 release, T'Challa’s first solo outing just slipped out of the spotlight.
But we have great news! Several websites recently reported that the final trailer for Black Panther is scheduled for release on January 8 during the College Football Playoff National Championship airing on ESPN. So keep your eyes peeled; this new clip will be out to increase the buzz about the film.
And there’s more! Event Cinemas revealed that 2018’s first superhero flick – which is also Ryan Coogler's MCU directorial debut – is 135 minutes long. So the movie will have plenty of time to explain why the fate of the world depends on what happens in Wakanda.
As the last movie before Avengers: Infinity War, Black Panther will set things up for Thanos to arrive on Earth. The movie is also expected to reveal the location of the Soul Stone, which is the last Infinity Stone. As the Infinity War trailer teased, the Mad Titan and his Black Order will attempt to invade Wakanda. It’s the most technologically advanced country in the world, and that’s a temptation, but we believe that the Soul Stone is what they really want.
Black Panther will be released on February 16, 2018.
