The Ant-Man sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, will be in theaters in just a couple of weeks. A number of actors from the first film – including Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly – will reprise their roles, and new addition Michelle Pfeiffer will play the original Wasp, Janet Van Dyne.
We learned in Ant-Man that Van Dyne had been lost in the Quantum Realm after sacrificing herself during a mission. How did she manage to survive there for so long? Is her psyche still intact after so many years of solitude?
We can expect the sequel to provide answers to these questions, and with 118 minutes to work with, Ant-Man and the Wasp has one minute more than Ant-Man did to do so.
Hannah John-Kamen plays main antagonist Ghost/Ava, but the actress implied during an on-set interview with Screen Rant that she isn't the film’s sole villain. The actress tried to dodge questions about the mystery that surrounds her character, but she let slip that Ghost is Ant-Man and the Wasp’s female antagonist. Wouldn’t it follow that there’s also a male antagonist? And if there is one, who is it?
Some fans believe that Van Dyne became evil during her time in the Quantum Realm; others feel that Bill Foster (Laurence Fishburne) is the mastermind behind Ghost. However, a cast list that just turned up online may help us identify the second villain!

Elihas Starr (Michael Cerveris), Egghead’s alter ego in the comics. And Egghead is a recurring antagonist in the Ant-Man comic book stories that feature Hank Pym. He could be the second villain in Ant-Man and the Wasp, but he could also just be a fugitive in the movie’s expected flashback scenes.
So what do you think? Who is the second Ant-Man and the Wasp villain?
