Ant-Man and the Wasp/Avengers 4 Connection!

Ant-Man and the Wasp may be the first film to follow Infinity War,  but its action takes place prior to Thanos’ fateful finger-snap. Nonetheless, the two movies may be linked. According to some long-standing rumors, Ant-Man and the Wasp will play a major role in the final Avengers installment.

But how major will that role be? We’re not sure, but the latest TV spot for Ant-Man and the Wasp also teases that the two movies are connected in some way. Ant-Man is a certified Avenger and he has seen the future! Granted, he saw it in dreams, but could a connection be established between his dreams and the Quantum Realm?

Here’s that TV spot:

Then there’s that ominous voice that speaks about the end of the war and Ant-Man’s role in it. This drives home the idea that Ant-Man and the Wasp will indeed play an important role in Avengers 4.

But it’s about more than just a tease or two. At the end of a new featurette about the Wasp, Marvel President Kevin Feige underscores the importance of Ant-Man and the Wasp and directly connects it with Avengers 4. Plus, the two miniature superheroes will play a crucial role in the final battle against Thanos.

Check it out below:

Obviously, when it comes to how important Ant-Man and the Wasp will be within the MCU, we have nothing but speculation. However, Ant-Man is a tech-based superhero who introduced the Quantum Realm into the MCU.

Captain Marvel also has something to do with the Quantum Realm, and since she’s about to become the shared universe’s most powerful superhero"¦

It’s also possible that new tech that will help defeat the Mad Titan will be made available after Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Ant-Man and the Wasp will be released on July 6, 2018.
