Great news for Wonder Woman fans - we are really very close to watching our first official trailer for the Amazonian Warrior Princess' standalone movie! We can be sure, because a "Comic-Con trailer" for the June 2, 2017 release has been officially classified by the British Board of Film Classification!
According to the released classification, the Wonder Woman trailer runs for no less than 2 minutes and 45 seconds. It also suggests that the trailer passed uncut.
We can definitely expect the trailer to arrive during today's Warner Bros. panel at San Diego Comic-Con International. Director Patty Jenkins will be present, along with three Wonder Woman stars: Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Chris Pine (Steve Trevor), and Connie Nielsen (Queen Hippolyta).
This year SDCC is celebrating the 75th anniversary of the iconic female superhero. So, it's the best time and place to drop the first trailer for her first live-action, standalone movie. And there's also the fact that they wrapped up filming a couple of months ago.
So, they really had ample time to come up with a trailer. And the runtime for the trailer does indicate that it's a full trailer and not just a teaser.
Yesterday, Gal Gadot shared Wonder Woman movie's first official poster. It features a really cool tagline: "POWER. GRACE. WISDOM. WONDER." Check out the awesome poster below!
Apart from the Wonder Woman trailer, we don't have a clear idea about what Warner Bros. has in store for us in the DC Extended Universe portion of their panel. Henry Cavill has reportedly arrived in San Diego from Heathrow, so there might be something related to Justice League that the studio wants to surprise us with.
But we can be sure about seeing something on David Ayer's Suicide Squad, which is just weeks away from rolling into theaters. So, they would want it to be the highlight of their panel.
