Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman is set to make her debut in the DC Cinematic Universe with Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Even though we've seen stills and concept arts of the Amazonian Princess, she was missing in the first official trailer launched months back. So, her importance in the movie is something we are not sure of - is it a cameo kind of an appearance or a full-fledged one?
However, we can pretty much assume that Wonder Woman is the third most important superhero in Batman V Superman, ahead of Aquaman and The Flash. But from what Zack Snyder revealed to Entertainment Weekly in a recent interview, she seems to have vital significance in the movie. According to the director:
"She plays a super-important part."
That's not all! Snyder claims that the significance of Wonder Woman is extensive in the development of the DC Cinematic Universe. He added:

"In a lot of ways, she's the gateway drug to the rest of the Justice League."
We would surely love to watch Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman having a greater importance in DC Cinematic Universe than what Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow has in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, won't we?
Nervous About Playing Wonder Woman!
Gal Gadot isn't a new face in Hollywood - she has an active acting career for around seven years. She isn't a new face in action movies either - she has played the role of Gisele Yashar in four different movies of the Fast & Furious franchise.
But this couldn't prevent her from getting a bit nervy when she was offered the role. Here's what the actress shares about the days of her auditioning for the role and getting the offer:
"I knew [the role] was big and it was for one of the franchises. He (Zack Snyder) said, "˜Well, I don't know how big she is in Israel"¦' and my jaw just dropped. There are so many expectations for this character, it's impossible not to"¨ be a little nervous about it."

Doing Swordplay And Lasso Stuff!
Even though Gal Gadot has done action sequences on the big screen, she has never been seen handling a sword. But that's what she needs in order to play Wonder Woman. Before the filming of Batman V Superman began, the actress had trained for six months to get to develop the skills required for the role. It seems like the Israeli actress has developed a fondness of the swordplay skill. She states:
"I love doing the swordplay stuff. It's another skill to add to my collection."
However, she isn't the same adept in handling the lasso yet! According to the actress:
"I'm still working on that."
