For a while now, we've been hearing rumors about the arrival of a new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice clip during Super Bowl 50 and those rumors have indeed turned out to be true! Not one, but two new commercials for the Zack Snyder flick have surfaced on web! Turkish Airlines, the movie’s official airline partner, has released the two clips, which highlight Batman and Superman's cities: Gotham and Metropolis.
Each of these Batman V Superman commercials is a-minute-and-eleven-seconds in length. The clips invite you to visit the airlines' new destinations – Gotham and Metropolis – while showcasing the tourist attractions of the two fictional cities.
The Gotham clip introduces Ben Affleck's Bruce Wayne as the one who provided the funding to restore the city’s former glory. He asks you to visit the city by saying, "There's never been a better time to visit our great city!" The TV spot features peeps of the legendary Gotham Opera House and the nightlife of the city with the Bat-Signal glowing against the sky. It also offers glimpses of Ace Chemical - the very place where The Joker was born in the comics.
In the other Batman v Superman commercial, Jesse Eisenberg's long-haired Lex Luthor is introduced as the one who contributed the funds to bring Metropolis back to life. He says, "We can't wait to welcome you!" The clip features brief looks at the Metropolis Museum of Modern Art, the giant Superman statue and the LexCorp building. And we do get glimpses of the Man of Steel flying around the city.
