The Lego Batman Movie – First Teaser Trailer

The Lego Batman Movie

As if you hadn't had enough of Batman-related news in the past few weeks, here’s more! The Lego Batman Movie has debuted its first teaser trailer. And, pretty much like all teaser trailers, it doesn't give away anything, except for the fact that there is only one Batman - the one who can beatbox.

Following the huge success of The Lego Movie in 2014, it was more than obvious that some sequels would follow and that some characters would need their own spin-offs. For the latter, Batman was the only choice to be made, with Will Arnett nailing it as the dark and brooding and funny version of the Dark Knight.

But let's not drag it out more than necessary - check out the first teaser trailer for The Lego Batman Movie below!

The timing is perfect! And that is because tomorrow the entire world will be able to compare Ben Affleck's take on the Dark Knight with Will Arnett’s. And, as you saw it, the fact that he is only the voice of the character doesn't count at all. Check out the clip below, starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jimmy Kimmel, and Will Arnett!

For the moment, not much is known about the plot of The Lego Batman Movie. What is known is that the cast is top-notch, with Ralph Fiennes (Alfred), Rosario Dawson (Batgirl), Michael Cera (Robin), Zach Galifianakis (Joker), and Mariah Carey (Mayor Marion Grange) having already been announced.

As the teaser teases, The Lego Batman Movie will also revolve around Batman's life as Bruce Wayne - as the directors said about a year ago, we will get to catch more than just glimpses of "Lego Batman's inner life as a frustrated artist".
