Update – The SDCC first look trailer of Suicide Squad has been officially launched! Check out the trailer at the end part of the post!
If you don't know it yet, a breathtaking footage from the third installment of the DC Cinematic Universe - Suicide Squad - was shown at Hall H of San Diego Comic-Con International this Saturday and it got leaked online! The arrival of the footage at SDCC surprised us not only for its awesomeness, but also for the fact that they haven't wrapped up filming yet.
Meanwhile, Warner Bros are shocked because they didn't expect this footage to get leaked! After all those leaks from the set of the movie, they should have expected that! I will get to that later in this post. But is the footage still available on web? I think it's not because even though I could watch it initially, now it seems that all the multiple sources that published the footage have removed it.
I wish I could share the video, because it's truly something beyond expectations, simply stupendous! Everyone seems first-rate but Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn and Jared Leto's The Joker are a treat to watch! I can offer you a description of the entire three-minute-long footage. However, that's not all that you get here - there's an official response from Warner Bros on the footage leak and a new logo for Suicide Squad to follow too! So, let's get start!

Description Of The Suicide Squad Footage!
The footage begins with Viola Davis' Amanda Waller seen with a couple of other guys – who apparently look like government officials – at a dinner table. She starts speaking, "It' taken some work but I finally have what we need. The worst of the worst." Then the logos of Warner Bros and DC Comics tick into the screen - that's something innovative!
Then we get to hear one of the officials ask her where. Viola's character responds, "Let's just say I put them in a hole and threw away the hole." Then the man tells her that he's heard rumors some of these guys have supernatural abilities. Amanda admits and says that she's witnessed those.
She further adds, "Maybe Superman was some kind of beacon for them to creep back from the shadows. I want to assemble a task force of the most dangerous people on the planet who I think can do some good." Then the man says, "They're bad guys." Amanda agrees again to his words and says that if anything goes wrong, they can blame those guys and that they have "˜plausible deniability'.

The man asks her that how she can think of controlling such guys. She replies, "Because getting people to act against their own self interest is what I do for a living." That's where their conversation ends. Meanwhile, we get to a few containment cells as the camera closes in and there's a soft tune playing in background.
First to appear is Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn swinging from the ceiling on gymnastic ribbons - anyone would love such an epic introduction to the character in live-action cinematic universe. Then we get to see Will Smith's Deadshot beats a punching bag, Jay Hernandez's El Diablo lighting up and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's Killer Croc strapped to a gurney. They get to see Amanda Waller approaching Harley's cell, when Margot Robbie's character as soft and innocent as a little girl asks her, "Are you the devil?"
Then comes some quick action cuts - we see Deadshot in his full costume (including the white mask) scaling down the side of a building, a fire fight inside of what seems apparently to be a hospital and Cara Delevingne's Enchantress dipped in a bathtub. Meanwhile, we get to hear a voice-over from Amanda Waller, "All you need to know is you work for me."
Then we get to see the full Suicide Squad gathered in the street when Will Smith's character says, "So that's it, huh? We're the patsies. We're some kind of Suicide Squad. Let's go and save the world." More brief scenes - Deadshot seems to be hugging his daughter, Harley seems to get cozy with someone (most probably The Joker), a close-up of Killer Croc, Harley cocking her baseball bat as if it's a shotgun and Karen Fukuhara's Katana drawing her sword. Meanwhile, there's a voiceover from Harley that we get to hear - she says, "You're in so much trouble." More quick succession of shots follow!

Remember the leak from the set which offered a scene where The Joker drives his Lamborghini with Harley alongside him and Batman is on the roof of the car? A portion of it appears in the footage - we don't see The Joker, but we do see Batman on the roof of the running car. Harley says laughingly from inside the car, "I hope you have insurance!"
With Jai Courtney's Captain Boomerang saying, "You know what they say about the crazy ones", begins the most stirring portion of the footage! We get to hear what we've been dying to hear - a maniacal cackle of The Joker! This one's completely unique - close to neither Heath Ledger's cackle, nor Jack Nicholson's.
In a dimly lit room, appears The Joker with electrodes in his hands. Appearing to be the sickest version of the character, Leto's The Joker addresses an unseen victim, "I'm not gonna kill you. I'm just gonna hurt you, really, really bad!" Here ends the footage leaving behind a massive boost in anticipation of the fans!
Hit 5 to check out what Warner Bros have to say about the leak and if they are going to release it online or not!
Warner Bros Responds To Footage Leak!
Sue Kroll, the President of Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution for Warner Bros, has offered an official statement to Deadline addressing the footage leak. She seems utterly disappointed for the leak! She also denies any chances of the leaked footage to be released online officially saying that it was not meant for a wider audience. Check out her statement below!
"We have no plans currently to release the Suicide Squad footage that leaked from Hall H on Saturday. It's unfortunate and ultimately damaging that one individual broke a long-standing trust we have enjoyed with our fans at the convention by posting early material, which, at this point, was not intended for a wider audience. We are still in production on Suicide Squad, and will have a big campaign launch in the future. Our presentation yesterday was designed to be experienced in that room, on those big screens!"
